Art and Garden Tours

Offered in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, this tour investigates the ways that artists depict the natural world in works of art. The students discover the similarities and differences in art and landscape design. Students also consider how artists and landscape designers use color, line and shape as compositional elements in their work and discuss design elements in both locations. The Lurie Garden 45-minute tour follows 60-minute tour at The Art Institute.

Limit: 40 Students, Grades 6-12

Thursdays, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm.
